Choose your stone from the numbered photos. Each hone will include a matching tomonagura slurry stone pictured. Additionally, each stone has been stamped on side and back and sides sealed in cashew lacquer.
These are all excellent kamisori (razor) grade hones in san size (longer, more narrow hones), selected for their fineness, hardness necessary for finishing honing razors and mined long ago in the Atagoyoma mine in Kyoto, Japan, these are all stones which are uniform and free from any inclusions or defects and intended for finishing razors and other fine instruments or tools.
Guide to stone stamps: Black characters along the left indicate Atagoyama mine. The black marking at top is the stamp of Kyoto natural stone association.

Stone AT1 - Atagoyama Kiita measures at its max dimensions 57mm wide x 203mm long x 17mm thick (2.2 inches wide x 8.0 inches long x 0.7 inches thick).
Stone AT2 - Atagoyama Kiita measures at its max dimensions 67mm wide x 191mm long x 20mm thick (2.6 inches wide x 7.5 inches long x 0.8 inches thick).
