Belgian Coticule & Belgian Blue - VINTAGE & RARE Collectable Classic Water Razor Hone Sharpening Stones

Offered here are classic, old mined Belgian Coticule water razor hones with Belgian Blue backing stone and one new rare vein hone from the Ardennes region of Belgium. 
Mined and prized as barber hones for hundreds of years, presented here is a small selection of old and rare stones from our private collection.
As with all old coticules, these are composed of the dual side Yellow Coticule and Belgian Blue honing surfaces (except stone no.1)
Each of these hones has been freshly lapped roughly on all sides and finally lapped with Atoma 1200 diamond plate on the BOTH the yellow coticule and Belgian Blue sides and are ready to use.
Each hone will also come with a slurry stone as pictured.

The stones pictured here have the following features:

Stone #1 - 38mm wide x 92mm long x 12mm thick (1.5 inches wide x 3.6 inches long x 0.5 inches thick) coticule layer at the longest/widest points
This stone is a recent vintage rare vein stone with beautidful manganese markings.

Stone #2 - 30mm wide x 130mm long x 13mm thick (1.2 inches wide x 5.1 inches long x 0.5 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
This is an old and fine and very pale and smooth natural combo stone, with slight manganese markings

Stone #3 - 35mm wide x 152mm long x 16mm thick (1.4 inches wide x 6.0 inches long x 0.6 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
An old and very hard deep rock type natural combo, it shows some signs of the presence of manganese in the stone visible as lines (has one repaired/filled corner)

Stone #4 - 35mm wide x 145mm long x 14mm thick (1.4 inches wide x 5.7 inches long x 0.6 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
A very nice, old smooth glued combo stone with gorgeous red speckled figuring

Stone #5 - 37mm wide x 147mm long x 17mm thick (1.5 inches wide x 5.8 inches long x 0.7 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
