Coticule Belgian Whetstone - Bout 1 Slurry Stone / Rubbing Stone

The Coticule Whetstone is a natural sharpening stone from the atelier of Ardennes Coticule, the only remaining producers of these sharpening stones. These hones are small No.1 Bout sized (12-18 square cm) yellow coticule backed by slate, used for generating a cutting slurry on a larger coticule hone.

They are random in shape but all are No.1 bout size, you will be picked a stone at random from our inventory.
