Procured from the estate of a local collector, these strops are in excellent condition, lightly or never used. The fabric has been washed and sanitized by us, but since they have not come directly from the manufacturer, are offered at a discount.

These strops, made by Keith Johnson of New York from vintage 100% flax linen firehose are some of the best for your razor's edge. Soft and supple and ready for use on your finest razors, they are highly effective at clearing debris and leave a distinct finish on a honed edge. The off-white hose shows some minor stains and wear from its firefighting history. It features a chrome-plated steel hook, nickel-plated brass rivets, steer hide ends, and hand-stitched cotton thread. Each strop is handmade, with slight imperfections like asymmetrical leather and visible wear, reflecting its authenticity and craftsmanship.
