Hard Translucent Arkansas - Boxed Vintage Collectable Oilstones / Sharpening Stones

Offered here are classic, old mined Arkanasas hones of the very finest translucent variety in their original boxes. These hones are sold in as-found condition and have not been lapped or burnished by us, but should be made flat or ready for use with none or not too much effort.

The stones pictured here have the following features:

Stone #1 - 47mm wide x 95mm long x 25mm thick (1.9 inches wide x 3.75 inches long x 1 inches thick) at the longest/widest points

An old and hard deep rock type natural combo, in worn original box and with the "Made in Belgium" ink stamp still visible on one side.

Stone #3 - 49mm wide x 126mm long x 24mm thick (1.9 inches wide x 5 inches long x 1 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
This nearly flawless stone comes in a hand made, carved wooden case.

Stone #4 - 45mm wide x 120mm long x 18mm thick (1.97 inches wide x 3.98 inches long x 0.75 inches thick) at the longest/widest points
