This piece of Tennen Toishi history is in pristine, never used condition and we are leaving it in its original state for its lucky new owner to treasure.
The stone was stamped and boxed before sale by Hatanaka and all of the original stamps and box are in pristine condition as well making this stone's overall presentation historically intact. The serial number on the stones box is #59 and we've seen another serial number reading #92 indicating that there were at least 92 of them on this series.
A light, quick test on the non stamped section of the stone indicates a harder stone.
Also extremely impressive is the fact that the stone is very pure for a Suita and based on an examination of the sides, the stone looks to be clean all the way through, adding to its monetary and historical value.
The stone's pure white Shiro Suita base is adorned with beautiful pink Renge and some stunning orange Yaki.
Stones like this almost never hit the open market so take this chance to own a beautiful piece of honing history with Museum Level specimen.
