Japanese Natural Finishing Toishi Whetstone - Ozuku Asagi Koppa

This exceptional Japanese Whetstone was purchased by us from the estate of a collector of fine Japanese hones. It measures 140 mm long × 73 mm wide × 18 mm tall with a weight of 465 grams.

High quality koppa from Ozuku. This stone has a classic Asagi coloration and would make a great travel hone due to its compact size. 
Perfect for someone looking to get into Japanese Naturals as it is very user friendly but still hard and fine enough. 
Mikawa Nagura progressions went very well with the stone releasing a minimal amount of itself into the slurry. 
The stone is very hard and not really a knife stone due to its hardness and shape but for razors, it's an extremely high quality stone at an affordable price. For razors, when honing water only, the stone really shows its hardness and density.
