The Shapton DGLP features a float glass substrate with recesses specifically designed for lapping stones. These recesses efficiently channel swarf away from the working surface and prevent hydraulic lock during use. The diamond grit bonded to the glass surface ranges from 45µ to 54µ, making the DGLP ideal for stones with a grit finer than 30µ (0.4µ to 30µ).

Measuring 254mm × 72mm (10" × 2 13/16") and weighing approximately 750g (26.5 oz), it includes an over-molded rubber frame for versatility. The DGLP can be used independently or in combination with a stone holder.
