Straight Razor Scales for 7/8-8/8 Blades - Black with white streaks Buffalo Horn - One Pair/Set

These highly figured razor scales are made to our specifications in India by a high quality manufacturer. They are more rare and higher priced as only one set of white streaked scales can be obtained per horn tip. They are large enough for 7/8-8/8 blades and possibly larger depending upon shape but can be modified to fit smaller blades as well. Measuring at about 3mm thick, they are not too heavy and well finished. A black horn spacer wedge is included which can be sanded down to correct wedge shape and thickness to suit your blade. These scales also have plenty of material at the ends for changing the end shape to rounded or angular/pointed styles. The inside surfaces of the scales are roughly sanded and can be left as-is or further sanded and polished if desired. The template for these scales is shown, though shape will vary slightly as these are hand made.

You will receive one randomly selected set of scales from our stock; a selection of a few various examples is shown.

Note that while the scales may arrive with slight natural curvature that is usually negated once pinned together. If additional adjustment is needed to fit your blade, slight heating in very hot water will render them pliable for easy adjustment.
