Thiers Issard 6/8 "Le Splendide" Limited Edition - Horn Clad Tang - Full Hollow Straight Razor

This limited edition razor, celebrating Thiers Issard's 140th Anniversary, is limited to 140 pieces. The 6/8 razor features a satin finished 135 Carbonsong steel full hollow ground blade with bevelled spine, a detailed etch, round nose and tang clad with black horn panels. The razor scales are old stock from the 1900s and stamped with the Thiers Issard name. The razor is packaged in an old stock plastic sheath and includes a high quality soft leather storage sheath, like shown.

In our experience, Thiers Issard razors usually come well honed right from the factory, possibly ready for shaving. As such, we will ship these razors with the factory edge for those clients who would choose to use the factory edge or hone themselves. However, if desired we will happily hone them to our high standards upon request, at no additional charge. If this free service is desired please leave us a note at checkout and allow an extra 2-3 business days before shipment.

Please note: Thiers Issard razors are hand made and honed at the factory and as such may show slighty uneven bevels and light hone wear. This is a result of how they are made an will not affect the great shaving performance of these razors.
