This is a wonderfully hard and fine Asagi for razors. Has the density and feel of a high end Ozuku. with beautiful green base and holographic patterns within this stone performs much above it's appearance. Water only honing yields a very smooth and fast moving sensation with underlying texture. Making diamond plate slurry increases the speed of the stone and the texture is whispy which can be heard and felt. This slurry can either be worked to finish or a matching Tomo Nagura can be used for a more comfortable and finest finish.
This stone is very hard and most appropriate for razors.
